Working 14 hour days trying to figure out how to develop and launch a new product or service is not uncommon for most internet marketing professionals. But do you really understand the value of your time? I did not!

Maybe you don't know the value of your time. Many people don't, so you are not alone. But knowing the value of your time will help you manage your scheduled and make more profit.

It's probably a good idea to make this calculation based on a week or maybe even a month time frame. This will smooth out the fluctuations that occur in your schedule and in your customer's buying patterns. This calculation will require you to monitor your work time for a week, which a good exercise to do regardless.

Abortion: Laminaria Use in Early Second Trimester Abortion (12.5 to 17 weeks) by James Pendergraft
Lamiinaria tents are made of the stems of the algae Laminaria digitate and Laminaria Japonica. Laminaria is seaweed that is mostly grown and cultivated in Korea, China, and Japan. It is written about in the Chinese literature that dates back over 1000 years. For the past 100 years Laminaria have been used in the U.S.. The standard stick is approximately 6 to 7 mm in length and 2 to 3 mm in diameter. The Laminaria sticks are individually packaged and sterilized using gamma-irradiation.
Laminaria use in Early Second Trimester Abortions (12.5 to 17 weeks) is associated with reduced maternal morbidity (complications to the mother) and mortality). Laminaria work by its hydroscopic (swelling) action by removing water from the cervix (lower womb). The Laminaria tent is associated with the synthesis and release of prostaglandins. This causes local changes to occur in the cervix that leads to the maturation (softening and dilation) of the cervix which allows for easier use of surgical dilators or shortens the induction (uterine contractions to delivery of gestational tissue) interval with the use of prostaglandins, and also reduces the amount of prostaglandins that are needed to terminate a pregnancy which in return reduces the side effects associated with the use of using prostaglandins.
Attempting to dilate the cervix with cervical dilators (serial enlarging rods) in patients in early second trimester abortions without cervical preparation or maturation (softening and opening of cervix) can lead to an increased incidence of cervical tears, cervical lacerations, damage to the cervical musculature, cervical incompetence where early miscarriages occur due to the cervix not able to hold a pregnancy, uterine (womb)perforation (hole in uterus), bowel injury, retained products of conception (pregnancy tissue remains in uterus), bleeding, or maternal death. The complication rate is reduced by 20 to 40% by using Laminaria. Laminaria tents are inserted into the patients cervix. Generally 1 to 6 are placed in patients that are in their early second trimester of pregnancy.
The Laminaria remain in the cervix from 3 to 24 hours. Some patients remain in the office for the three or four hours before the surgical procedure is performed. Other patients are sent home to return the following day for the surgical procedure is to be performed. Antique Shopping Should be Fun by Frank Arcilesi
Someone once advised me that if you're going to go shopping for antiques, stick to shops that are true to the business.' That meant, of course, turn your nose up at flea markets and those quaint little places off the beaten path that feature a few more items, other than the 100-year-old tiffany lamp with the requisite patina on the base--things like Hawaiian shirts and scented candles on the side.
Well shucks neighbor, definitely don't pay attention to any of that talk, or else you'll miss out on all the fun. High end antiquing is for the serious professional, but don't consider it fun, and for me, fun is what it's all about. I tossed out my stuffy collar long ago and now I just take my cowboy hat and boots, with me in them, to whatever nifty little place, wherever it is, that has some good old stuff to sell.
Of course if you are a serious collector, you'd better bone up on whatever it is that you're collecting, or else take the Kovels with you, anytime you go out on that antiquing excursion.
I'll admit that I do have a penchant for items of the 50's, especially fine fountain pens and those colorful transistor and tube radios of that era. Bulova transistor radios are my favorite,5815 Ugg Classic Tall Grey Boots. That's right the watch company they made radios in the 50's.
My condo is running out of room to display my radio collection. Last count there were about 50 or so in various nooks and crannies (sometimes I have trouble finding my cat who likes to share the nooks and crannies with them). And yes, most of them work.
But whenever I come across one of these gems, I've got a pretty good idea of what it's worth. I've done my research and so should you if you want to become serious about collecting items from a particular niche of our past.
There are plenty of excellent books around. The local library is a great place to start. There are plenty of good reference books for the novice who wants a broad view of collectibles. Specific books on any particular segment of the market such as dolls, collectible glass, matchbox cars, and just about anything else are also available, but getting a broad view of collecting is best at first and fun. You'll be surprised at what sorts of things people collect.
But niche collecting is not the point of this article. I'm not always looking for radios nor do I wish to. Just taking a leisurely weekend drive through the American countryside on the hunt for one of these quaint shops is part of the fun, especially if you have no agenda as to what you're looking for.
My motto is, If you like it, buy it. I've bought random items such as old key chains, John Deere memorabilia, cufflinks, an old 45 RPM record player, vintage pencils, Carnival glass, and Coke memorabilia, just to mention a few, just because I liked them. And none of the items were budget busters all were relatively inexpensive.
Now it doesn't matter what part of this fine great country you live in, those antique emporiums are out there, replete with those wonderful people who own them. Mall antique shops are fine but I'm interested in something with a bit more character, thank you. I've met some fine and interesting characters out there in those one-owner shops.
I'm on the East coast and I travel throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania on my quest for that next shop I haven't been to yet. Sometimes if you ask some of the locals at a gas station, convenience store or restaurant, you'll get valuable leads as to where a great little shop is located in the area.
One thing you should always keep in mind don't let the looks of it from the outside deter you from stopping and going in. And if it looks like a barn, or an old railroad station, it probably is, so definitely don't miss the opportunity to take a few shots with the digital before you go inside for some easy browsing.
The people who own these shops are usually knowledgeable and friendly, and you'll find that the folks who visit them are just as friendly. Heck, that's what it's all about that human experience, as they say.
Now just because we're feeling all friendly and have gotten that warm and fuzzy feeling inside after we've browsed around that doesn't mean we can't get down to business. That price tag on that old lamp or that collection of PEZ candy dispensers is just your invitation for some friendly bargaining--I said friendly, not nasty.
Pleasantly asking if the price on the tag is firm is a good way to start. You'll usually discover that the answer is no,' and if your willing to pay with cash, that's even better when you begin your bargaining process.
Don't make the mistake though of degrading the item as a way to get the price down not a good idea. That's a sure way to cool things down fast. Offer 20% less than what's on the tag. You probably won't get it but more often than not, you can get at least 10% off your newly found gem.
I've even offered one price for a group of items that I'm interested in. After you've done it a few times, you'll find that bargaining can be fun. That's the whole idea.

Does this sound familiar? You have a dream, but are afraid that if you pursue it, you would risk giving up what you already have. However, there is never a time when everything in your life is perfect for carrying out your goals. Don't wait for everything to be lined up. First, design your life around your priorities. Many people try to fit their dreams into their life and complain there are not enough hours in the day to make it happen. Everest chose to live just outside of Zion National Park so she could climb rock cliffs in her own backyard. Climbing was her priority for many years and she made choices in alignment with that.
Second, handle the basics (food, clothing and shelter) then reach for fulfillment and self-actualization. If you can't stand your job any longer or have been forced out and you need a source of income, get a low-stress interim job to pay the bills while your pursue your dream.
Visualize every step of your dream and watch the magic unfold. For example, an experiment conducted by Australian Psychologist Alan Richardson found a 23 percent performance improvement among subjects who visualized every day for 20 days.
Mary Youngblood went from welfare mom to Grammy award winner. Mary visualized herself out of welfare. She did this by writing a short story about a young welfare mother. It was her story, basically, and how she was discovered having great talent and was able to get herself up and out of welfare. She pictured it happening in her head and then took action in alignment with that picture.
Laser in on one idea, business or income stream at a time. One of the mistakes people make is diversifying too quickly. This is true whether you are trying to build multiple streams of income or are just working on several different ideas at one time. The key is getting the first stream or idea up and running and having systems in place so it will keep running without you before going on to the next unrelated stream.

It can feel intimidating to talk to a lawyer. I've learned the hard way that if your lawyer can't explain things to you as if you are a smart 14-year-old, you should find a lawyer who can. A lawyer is supposed to make your life easier, not more stressful.
Your first step in finding a lawyer is to ask your family, friends or acquaintances. Ask why they like him or her and what the lawyer did for them. If you're consulting a lawyer about a divorce or estate planning, it's important that he/she has experience in these areas of expertise.
Credentials count, but this is about more than education and experience The law is complicated enough; you need someone who can explain things to you in addition to being qualified to advise you.
In the event of divorce, or the death of a husband, you will be working closely with the lawyer. You want things explained clearly to you because you'll be emotionally upset. A lawyer's jargon and lack of ability to communicate clearly will upset you even more.
Before you choose someone, phone the office to ask if the lawyer will give you an introductory meeting at no cost. This allows you both to get a sense of whether you can work well together.

Take a tape recorder with you. Why? Because it's hard to remember all the things your lawyer says. It's like going to the doctor. You don't go when things are fine. You go when there is a problem, when your emotions are high or you're not feeling well. A tape recorder means you don't have to rely on your memory at a time when your memory may let you down.
Try to remember that a lawyer is only a person like you with extra training in legal education and procedure. What you are paying for is his/her information, skill and time. You are the client and your lawyer is providing a service you are buying.
